At Malling U3A you can be sure of a warm welcome. We meet at Ryarsh Village Hall on the 4th Tuesday of the month throughout the year. Our meetings start at 2pm and we have a lively programme of monthly talks that cover many different subjects and topics given by Guest Speakers who are experts in their field.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are available after the event and there is plenty of time to socialise with the other members. There are always several members of the Committee at these meetings who are only too pleased to answer any queries you may have concerning Group activities or any other aspect of our U3A.
At present, because of the current Coronavirus situation, monthly meetings are temporarily being held over the internet using Zoom, members are sent a Zoom link by email before each meeting.

A Pastoral Team has started in Malling U3A to be available to members who are unwell, at home or in hospital, and who might appreciate a visit or a telephone call. We are, we believe, a welcoming U3A and a caring Organisation which has concern for its members. It may well be that there are other situations in which a listening ear might be welcomed by members – bereavement, worry about someone else, or wanting to share a concern.
We do not want to intrude upon personal lives, but we do want to make ourselves available should the need arise and if members feel it is appropriate. The members of the Team are willing to be approached individually if you know them, but an approach may be made through Derek Carpenter who will happily put you in touch with who you feel is most appropriate. Be assured that confidentiality will be maintained within the Team.
